Aristotle’s Academy
An academy is a place of study or training in a specialized field. The original academy, located outside Athens, Greece, attracted those “intoxicated to learn what was in their heart”. The students called “learner-companions” learned from lectures, dialogues and social interaction. eKranium creates a learning space filled with relevant knowledge materials: books, articles, seminars, library, conferences and other sources.

Plato’s Cave
The allegory of Plato’s Cave represents a closed environment where people lived their lives excluded from the rest of the world. They were comfortable with their shadows and accepted their world as normal. They stayed within the walls of the cave while the world outside changed.
